Amaravathi Restaurant established on the 14th Dec 1980 on cathedral Road proudly boasts serving Authentic Andhra food in traditional way ever since. Andhra cuisine is a combination of the South and Deccan and known to be the spiciest and hottest of Indian cuisine. The cuisine has vegetarian and non vegetarian signature dishes which are spicy and unique in taste. The spicy chutneys and pickles of Andhra, specially the mango and shrimps are all time favorites. The chefs who come from those regions are the master chefs who also source special spices and ingredients for their preparations.


The Restaurant has some of the best signature dishes like Amaravathi chilli chicken, Nellore Chapala pulusu (Nellore fish curry, kodi vepudu,(roast chicken) Mutton Gongura , mango Prawns curry (Mamidikaya royyala pulusu) besides its famous thali which has some of the best combinations of various dishes along with variety Dal powder to choose from.
